We have had a fantastic weekend at the JK in the Reading area.

We have a JK Champion (for the two days combined)  – Elizabeth Horsler – who was first on both days in W10B – a fantastic achievement and by a considerable margin.  May it be the first of many more to come.  Congratulations to her.

In the Sprint event on Day 1 Keith Henderson was  JK Champion in M70 and Nikki Crawford was 2nd in W70 – congratulations to both of them.

Finally on Relays Day it all happened.

In the 210+ age group we were 1st and 3rd with OD taking the space between us. There were 27 teams in this class.   In the winning team was Kirsty Staunton, Sue Hands and Keith Henderson.  In the third team was myself, Nikki Crawford and Philip Cooper.  Again well done to all of them.

Also in the relays many of our other teams put in very creditable performances

In the Junior Relay Becky Whittingham, Darren Whittingham and Tamsin Miller were 19th out of 29 teams

In Women’s Short Michelle Spillar, Jo Pickering and Sally Calland were 13th and Nikki Miller, Lynn Branford and Wendy Bullen were 21st out of 37 teams.

In Men’s Short Simon Branford, John Whittingham and Steve Mallison were 25th out of 41 teams.

Well done to all of them.
