Wessex Region Night League 2021-22
Final Event and Prizegiving at Fordingbridge on 28 February 2022

The league comprised 16 events this season in which we had 159 different competitors completing 583 very different runs.
Our top competitors who competed in 15 out of 16 events were Tim Gray and Mike Frizzell (Mike would have made all 16 but had a puncture on the way to the Wareham event).
Winners of the new novice league for competitors who have not been orienteering for longer than 2 years or new to night orienteering were Debbie Ewing and Derek Pitman.
Handicap league based on BOF recommended age running ratios. Positions were decided on results at the final event at Fordingbridge. NB Tina Stratford takes 3rd place in the Women’s Handicap class, rather than Hilary Pickering as announced after the event: apologies to Tina for the error.
