Loders Court

Helen & I went round to Loders Court. We got lots of INFORMATON from Lady Hood.

Helen & I asked all of these questions.....

1. When was it built? It was built in 1799

2. Why was it built? It was built for a manor house

3. Who built it? Sir Evan Nepean

4. How many rooms are there all together? There are 12 rooms altogether

5. What was it used for (old days)? It was used for a manor house and at one stage of its life it was a nursery

6. Is it still used the same today? No it is used as a normal house

We asked the people in the village and the people in yr 5/6 this question.

Do you think Loders Court should have been put somewhere else in the village?

COMMENTS

YES: It should have been made in to a playing filed

NO: It is a nice start to the village.
