On Friday the 28th of November, Loders A and B team travelled over to Symondsbury for the cluster football tournament. The A team were very confident at the beginning against Powerstock and Symondsbury while the B team were also confident over their match against Symondsbury B. Loders A played the second match of the tournament against Powerstock and played very well. In the first half they were a bit rocky and didn't really play their usual football, but luckily they didn't concede a goal. In the second half they really shone with great passing from Oliver, JJ, Callum and Jak. To open the scoring JJ scored a fantastic header from a Jak corner. Next to score was Oliver who did a solo run to put the ball into the back of the net. Next to score was Jak who got a lucky deflection off of one of the Powerstock players to finish up the game 3-0 to Loders A.
The Loders B team played next and played a brilliant game. From the start Loders dominated the game and before long James dribbled down the pitch to set up Thaisen for his first goal ever for Loders. Symondsbury had a couple of chances but didn't take them. Great play from Kai and Edward resulted in yet another Thaisen goal. After a short period James stuck a brilliant shot into the back of the net which sealed the game. Just as Symondsbury took the centre the final whistle blew and the game ended 3-0 to Loders B.
The last game was Loders A against Symondsbury. Loders defenders Charlie and Catherine let nothing past them and were able to push up as nothing to threatening was coming there way. Again great wing play from JJ let Oliver tap in his 2nd goal of the tournament and his 1st goal of the game. Charlie and Jak ensured Oliver for his second goal of the game. After a quick half time Loders attacked from the beginning of the second half and shortly Oliver scored his 3rd from a well taken Callum pass. Just before the final whistle Jak netted a 4th for Loders which guaranteed another Loders win. Loders goalkeeper Scott didn't have anything to do throughout the whole competition which was a plus for Loders! Loders A and B will now got through to the finals against Thorners, Burton Bradstock and St Catherines school.
